About our minister
I have served with St. Andrew’s for almost 5 years. Previously, I served congregations in Manitoba and Kapuskasing, ON. I am originally from Alberta and grew up on a farm near Drumheller. I met my spouse, Roland Legge, at a meeting of Alberta and Northwest Conference. Our other family member is Abby, the beagle.
As a Diaconal minister, my training focuses on education, social justice and pastoral care and I bring these skills and passions to everything that I do in ministry. A particular area of interest is in Christian education for all ages with a focus on how God calls us to live in the world – connecting faith, scripture and action in our learning. The work of ministry is always challenging and I am constantly learning new things about myself, the congregation, the world and our collective faith as people of God.
In my spare time I read novels, experiment with cooking and occasionally try creative projects that can be finished in one sitting.
