Dear supporter of St. Andrew’s,

We are writing to provide you with an update on our 2024 Budget. Most of the income received to support St. Andrew’s ministry is through donations from individuals, like you. Thank you for your generosity and please continue sharing with St. Andrew’s. Your gifts support God’s work in the world and sharing your abundance is an act of faith. Your generous giving ensures that the church can continue to offer the ministry and services that benefit our faith community, Yorkton, and the world.

At St. Andrew’s we continue to offer ministry through in-person and online worship. Worship includes Baptism, and Communion, services for weddings and funerals. Our music ministry offers live choir, organ, and piano music in worship. We provide pastoral care in hospitals, homes, and nursing homes; we have regular bible study, youth group activities, an active quilting group, and our United Church Women meet monthly.

Our building is home to the Yorkton Nursery School Cooperative, and Narcotics Anonymous and is a meeting space for Big Brothers and Sisters. We have space available for rent to local community groups and individuals. We host Sunday coffee after worship and regular coffee parties each month.

Our local outreach includes our food-shelf program and the Whitespruce Training Centre outreach program. We are an Affirming Church of the United Church of Canada and offer a safe space for all who need support.

St. Andrew’s continues to be a place for spiritual growth, community engagement, outreach, and deep welcome. Again, this is thanks to your financial gifts and volunteer time. Looking ahead to 2024, our total expenses will be approximately $218,882. Our goal is to raise $161,000 in local offerings. With your help, we can achieve this goal. Please prayerfully consider increasing your giving. All donations to St. Andrew’s are valued and received with gratitude. If you are able, please make a special donation to help us reach a balanced budget for 2023.

All donations to St. Andrew’s are tax deductible. Charitable receipts are sent out in January of the year following the donations. Donations for the 2023 tax year must be received at the church or postmarked by December 31st.

Please take a moment to review the information on the website by clicking the links above and then complete your 2024 pledge form. The information you provide through the pledge will assist us in making the decisions necessary to finalize the budget. We need our entire church community’s help realizing this goal and ensuring St. Andrew’s ministry can continue to thrive and grow, so please consider your pledge, and complete it by December 31st.
